Another Major Bitcoin Advertisement! Front-page ad in Hong Kong Apple Daily, signed by Satoshi Nakamoto: Bitcoin Will Not Abandon You

On the front page of Apple Daily in Hong Kong on the 24th, an anonymous advertisement appeared with the headline: "Banks, today it's not you dumping me, it's me dumping you." Underneath a large Bitcoin logo, it says in English: "Bitcoin will never ditch you," signed by Satoshi Nakamoto.

"What is Bitcoin?" Explained for Those Who Need to Know

The text reads:

"Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, invented by Satoshi Nakamoto after the financial crisis. On January 3, 2009, Bitcoin created the first block - GENESIS BLOCK, despite many people's initial skepticism, it has proven its value time and time again."

"Transactions conducted on the Bitcoin network do not require intermediaries such as banks or electronic payment platforms, anyone can engage in transactions without any interference."

"Whether you are prohibited from using banking services for any reason, or wish to enjoy financial freedom without being restricted or regulated by third parties, we welcome you to join the Bitcoin family."

Interestingly, the recent rumors of account suspensions were due to the U.S. imposing sanctions on Hong Kong officials under the pretext of disrupting Hong Kong's autonomy and freedom.

Even more intriguing is the recent news related to "I Fly You," which coincidentally intersects with the Apple Daily. The first article discusses the incident of Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam being restricted entry into the U.S. Perhaps this advertisement has many other interesting angles to explore.

Bitcoin in the News

This year, we saw Taiwan's Mandarin Daily explaining new-generation digital currencies to children, and the U.S. digital currency investment institution Galaxy Digital placing a full-page Bitcoin advertisement in The Financial Times, stating: "It's time to invest in Bitcoin," with the subtitle emphasizing that "in turbulent times, Bitcoin is a hedge unaffected by global hegemony."

These three newspaper ad examples target different audiences and demonstrate that in the relatively turbulent year of 2020, Bitcoin has gained exposure in education, politics, and finance.
