Coinbase, after years of application, has finally become a member of Japan's compliant licensed exchanges in June. In today's announcement (19th), Coinbase revealed the exciting news that it will be partnering with MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group), one of Japan's largest banks, to offer users a fast deposit service.

Coinbase, after years of application, has finally become a member of Japan's compliant licensed exchange in June. Coinbase announced today, the 19th, that it will cooperate with MUFG Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, one of Japan's largest banks, to provide users with fast deposit services.

Coinbase stated that they will also launch retail products including the top five cryptocurrencies by trading volume and will add more assets and products in the coming months. They will also introduce advanced trading and institutional services to meet local demand in Japan.

According to reports, the trading assets registered by Coinbase in Japan include BTC, BCH, ETH, XLM, and LTC.

Coinbase closed down 2.56% before the announcement.
