Uniswap launches token swapping plugin "Swap Widget" with support for best trade routes and L2, now deployed on OpenSea
Uniswap has announced the launch of the Swap Plugin, allowing developers to easily deploy it on platforms or applications using simple code, with support for layer-two solutions such as Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism.

According to the announcement from Uniswap, the "Swap Widget" coin exchange plugin has officially launched, featuring the following:
- Custom token list.
- Elegant interface: Inheriting the design concept of the Uniswap App.
- Customizable: Front-end visuals can be adjusted to match the platform's colors, fonts, rounding, etc.
- Integrated with Uniswap Labs' trading router, to match the best price from v2, v3 token pools.
- Layer 2 solution: Synchronized with the blockchains supported by Uniswap, including Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism.

However, the "Swap Widget" can currently only be implemented through developers, and the developer code documentation can be found here.
Currently, OpenSea, Friends With Benefits, and Oasis.app have supported the "Swap Widget," allowing users on OpenSea to convert ETH/WETH with a single click.
In practice, users still need to install encrypted wallets like MetaMask to use the "Swap Widget," and MetaMask itself has its own transaction feature "MetaMask Swaps."
The similarity in functionality makes the two potential competitors, and Uniswap may need to leverage its trading router and support for layer 2 solutions to stand out.
