Mischief if no coins given! Netizen hides Bitcoin gift cards in candy box, surprising reaction from children upon discovery

Cryptocurrency analyst and Bitcoin evangelist Brad Mills hid two Bitcoin gift cards in the candy boxes prepared for children on Halloween. What will the children's reactions be when they see Bitcoin?

Don't Want Candy, Just Bitcoin

On Halloween, October 31st, Brad Mills tweeted that in the Halloween candy box he prepared for kids, along with chocolates and candies, he included two gift cards worth 0.007 bitcoins (BTC), valued at around $100 each. Mills captured the reactions of the kids discovering the bitcoin gift cards on camera.

A boy in a white costume excitedly exclaimed to his friends after rummaging through the box for a while:

"I just got a $100 bitcoin gift card!"

Another panda companion pulled out another card from the candy box. However, there were only two bitcoin gift cards, and the kids dressed as a rooster and in white searched the box for a long time only to find no bitcoin, with the one in white leaving disappointedly, kicking the box in frustration before walking away.

Shortly after, a group of girls heard about this and ran to Brad Mills' house, not for candy but for bitcoin.

A Lesson in Scarcity

While these kids may only know the card is worth $100 and not the significance it represents, the response from the cryptocurrency community has been quite positive, with many Twitter users stating that this is a lesson in scarcity for the kids. Cryptocurrency market statistician Willy Woo commented:

"This is historically significant, when these kids grow up, they will each only have 0.002 BTC or less."

Chris Burniske, co-founder of venture capital firm Placeholder, alsostated:

"This clip is truly amazing, Brad, you guys did a great job, and some of them may never forget this day."
