Will the SEC approve the Bitcoin spot ETF? With the deadline for the SEC's response approaching, more positive news is emerging.
Continuing to comment and track the news, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated in a tweet at 1/5 early morning that: "The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is issuing final opinions, and issuers will submit final 19b-4 and S-1 shortly. This, as expected, signals a successful outcome, but as far as I know, it has not received official approval."
News account @DeItaone even stated that, according to a senior reporter, several companies' applications for Bitcoin spot ETFs will be approved by the SEC tomorrow. This news is unconfirmed.
Another Bloomberg analyst, James Seyffart, also stated that despite his optimism, he does not believe that it will be approved immediately on 1/5 U.S. time, but rather will happen between 1/8-10.
