Famous American fund manager Bill Miller revealed in an interview that he holds 50% of his personal investment portfolio in Bitcoin, with the remaining 50% invested in Amazon stock (AMZN). He also suggests allocating 1% of one's budget to invest in Bitcoin.

In an interview with WealthTrack, Bill Miller mentioned that he started buying and holding Bitcoin when the price was $200. Last June, when the price of Bitcoin dropped to around $30,000, he bought a "reasonable amount" of Bitcoin. He mentioned that if the price of Bitcoin continues to drop by more than 80% in this wave, he will buy more at the bottom.

Despite Bitcoin dropping below $40,000 on the 10th, reaching as low as $39,736, Bill Miller remains bullish on Bitcoin. He stated in the interview that he is no longer just an "observer" of Bitcoin but a true Bitcoin investor.

Bill Miller has allocated 50% of his net assets to investments in Bitcoin and related companies, such as Michael Saylor's MicroStrategy and mining company Stronghold Digital Mining. Bill Miller has always been a devoted investor in Amazon, with almost 100% of his investments in the company.

He bought his first Bitcoin in 2014 at a trading price of $200 and did not continue buying for years until Bitcoin reached $66,000 in April 2021 and then dropped to $30,000, prompting him to buy again.

"This time I bought at $30,000 because more and more people are using it, and more and more venture capital is going into it."

Bill Miller believes that Bitcoin has become a more powerful investment tool than gold and the best hedge. Therefore, he recommends individual investors to allocate at least 1% of their assets into Bitcoin:

"I think the average investor should ask themselves, what in your portfolio has that kind of record: high security, not easily penetrated; can provide financial disaster insurance that other assets cannot provide, and can increase by 10 times or 50 times. The answer is: nothing. Only Bitcoin."

Bill Miller is a legendary investor known for outperforming the S&P 500 index for 15 consecutive years. From 1991 to 2005, the Legg Mason Value Trust fund managed by Bill Miller achieved a total return of 980%, with an average annual compound return of about 16.44%. The fund's assets under management grew from $750 million to $20 billion during this period. Legendary fund manager Peter Lynch beat the S&P 500 index for 8 consecutive years, while Bill Miller's winning streak was twice as long as Peter Lynch's.
