Too Much Focus on Twitter? Musk Sells $40 Billion Tesla Stock in a Year
Musk recently sold 22 million shares of Tesla stock worth $3.58 billion; last month, after taking over Twitter, Musk sold 19.5 million shares worth $3.95 billion. Over the past year, he has sold $40 billion worth of shares, but he remains Tesla's largest shareholder.
People are starting to question whether Musk is too focused on matters outside of Tesla, such as Indonesian billionaire and the third-largest Tesla shareholder KoGuan Leo who expressed his hope that Musk could step down as CEO of Tesla because he is too focused on Twitter.
Tesla's stock price has performed poorly over the past year, falling by 50%; as a result, Musk has lost his position as the world's richest person. Will the results of this survey make him refocus on Tesla?
