Zhejiang Testnet Open for Experience
Zhejiang is the first public testnet for Ethereum post-merge, where various functions can be tested in the link list.
By clicking "Add Network to Metamask," users can add the Zhejiang testnet to Metamask. By clicking the Faucet link, users can enter their address to receive the test tokens needed for the testnet.
The Launchpad at the bottom is the interface for the testnet staking function, where users can try to become validators and see the testnet ETH staking, validator count, and staking APR.
Shanghai Upgrade Coming in March
According to a previous Ethereum conference call, Ethereum is expected to launch the Shanghai upgrade in March. As of 2/1, a total of 16.47 million ETH has entered the Beacon Chain staking for the Ethereum consensus layer, adopting the PoS consensus mechanism.
Furthermore, around 60% of ETH is still in a loss-making state. Whether the unlocking ETH after the completion of the Shanghai upgrade will bring selling pressure to the market remains to be seen.
