Sponsor: Theta Network

The Asian esports tournament is sponsored by the decentralized video platform Theta. Theta is a decentralized media distribution network where users can contribute spare bandwidth and turn their devices into caching nodes on the network. Users watching videos can access content from nearby caching nodes instead of traditional CDN servers, reducing operating costs for video platforms and improving efficiency when widely adopted.

The competition will also be live-streamed on Theta's decentralized video platform THETA.tv, mobile app, and Binance's official website. In addition to contributing spare bandwidth, users can earn a small amount of TFUEL tokens while watching videos. Similar to other blockchain projects like VeChain, Theta utilizes a dual-token system, with TFUEL being the gas token issued by Theta.

Theta Network (THETA) has seen a remarkable increase in value this year, rising from just $0.08 at the beginning of the year to $0.5 now, a 544% increase. Theta has also announced positive news this year such as partnerships with Google Cloud and mainnet launches, with Binance, Blockchain.com, and Samsung being some of its enterprise validation nodes.
