EigenLayer TVL Surpasses Uniswap to Become the Fifth Largest Protocol

According to DeFiLlama, the Ethereum staking project EigenLayer has surpassed $6 billion in Total Value Locked (TVL) after reopening staking, with a 181% increase in the past 7 days.

Prior to temporarily lifting the 200,000 ETH staking cap per protocol on February 6, EigenLayer's TVL was around $2.5 billion, still below the fifth-placed Uniswap.

stETH Flows into EigenLayer

While new liquidity ETH options such as Mantle Staked Ether mETH, Staked Frax Ether sfrxETH, and Liquid Staked Ether lsETH were added this time, the majority of the newly deposited funds in recent days are still Lido's stETH, accounting for approximately 80% of new deposits.

Following stETH are WETH and Swell Staked Ether swETH, with the current TVL structure as shown in the figure below.

EigenLayer Prepares for EigenDA and Operator Mainnet

On February 10 at 4:00 am Taiwan time, EigenLayer announced the end of staking opening, with the current amount of ETH deposited reaching 2.45 million, while the protocol prepares for the launch of EigenDA and Operator mainnets.

According to previous reports, EigenDA and Operator are the second phase of EigenLayer's development roadmap.
