AltLayer's first-season airdrop of 300 million ALT tokens to official NFT holders and eligible users who re-stake.
After the launch of the 45th phase of the Binance LaunchPool project on January 19, AltLayer officially announced the token distribution for the first season of airdrops on the 23rd.

AltLayer ALT Token Applications
AltLayer is an open-source protocol that adopts blockchain modularization and is specifically designed for Rollups, aiming to provide RAAS (Rollups-as-a-Service) so that developers can choose the most suitable Rollups stack according to their needs.
According to the official announcement, AltLayer's ALT token will have the following applications:
Governance: Voting on protocol governance proposals.
Protocol Fees: Network participants are required to pay for network services in ALT tokens.
Protocol Incentives: Operators in the AltLayer ecosystem can receive ALT token rewards.
Economic Bonds: ALT tokens are used together with re-staked assets for economic staking, where the more staked, the higher the weight in the system.
AltLayer ALT First Quarter Airdrop Summary
The total amount of ALT tokens for the AltLayer first-quarter airdrop is 300 million, accounting for 3% of the total circulation. The snapshot was taken at 08:00:11 on January 17th, Taiwan time, and the airdrop claim period is from January 25th to February 25th.

Re-staking Participants According to Airdrop Points
Re-staking users such as Kelp DAO, Ether.fi, Renzo Protocol, EigenLayer, etc., will allocate the airdrop based on airdrop points.

AltLayer will allocate a portion of the airdrop to the EigenLayer team and related partners as a thank you for their continuous support of the "Restaked Rollup" service.
AltLayer Airdrop Claim Website
As of 1/25 update, AltLayer has announced the claim website where eligible users can check how many ALT tokens they can receive. As of the deadline, TIA stakers are still unable to check.
The claim will open at 5:00 PM on 1/25 GMT+8.
