NFT digital collectibles that change based on election results? If Trump makes a comeback, the artwork will look like this.

Non-fungible token, NFT, has brought new creativity to the digital art world! Would you be interested in collecting a digital artwork that changes over time?

Biden or Trump?

Digital artist Mike Winkelmann BEEPLE from the United States released a "transforming" NFT dynamic artwork before the U.S. election. In the original artwork, naked representations of Trump and Biden float in the dark, on the verge of conflict. After the election results are determined, the artwork will display completely different content based on whether Biden or Trump wins.

If Biden wins, the digital artwork will transform into an image of a ridiculed, graffiti-covered Trump lying on the ground with a bird mocking him as a clown, abandoned on an ignored lawn.

If Biden wins

If Trump wins, he will be portrayed as a naked giant with a crown, walking through flames.

How is this done?

According to the digital collectibles auction platform Nifty, BEPPLE is cautious about determining the election outcome because the performance of this dynamic NFT is irreversible. Nifty stated that they will call a chain function to replace the IPFS hash value with the Biden victory outcome to update the data displayed on the terminal. They also mentioned that this on-chain function can only be called once, demonstrating its immutability.

Auction Price: $66,666 USD

This dynamic artwork was auctioned off to the crypto art museum M○C△ for $66,666 USD on November 1, and the museum is also seeking to sell it at the same price.

However, the digital collectibles market is currently oversaturated, making it challenging to find genuine buyers for auctions with extremely high prices.

Why become a crypto artist?

Mike Winkelmann BEEPLE, who just recently discovered NFTs, is similar to other artists who engage in NFT mining memes. BEEPLE's main profession is a graphic designer, and he has created various digital videos, AR/VR, and other digital works for large companies such as Apple, SpaceX, and Coca-Cola.

BEEPLE's digital work

He admitted that he only recently became familiar with NFTs and does not have a grand evaluation of the world of crypto art. However, he finds this field interesting as it allows him to do things that many others have not done before.

Many of BEEPLE's digital artworks contain political themes. Although Trump won the electoral votes in South Carolina where he resides, Charleston, the city where he lives, was won by Biden. His depictions of Trump in his artwork often portray him as a repulsive or demonic figure, expressing his own stance in his creations.
