Underrated Alpaca in DeFi, DeFi veteran researcher: DeFi summer has arrived on BSC

"'DeFi Summer' isn't coming, it's already here on BSC," said Joey Wong, a prominent DeFi researcher and investor from Hong Kong, on Twitter.

She noted that CAKE, BAKE, XVS, BUNNY, AUTO, ALPACA, EPS have all seen crazy growth of over 50% in the past three days.

The Undervalued Protocol's Price Reaction

Joey Wong believes that in the past, the market has given these BSC projects very favorable prices. One such case is ALPACA. She wonders why ALPACA, with a higher Total Value Locked (TVL) compared to ALPHA on Ethereum's v1, v2 versions and BSC, is only priced at one-third of ALPHA?

She continues to state that the market is reevaluating these projects in recent days. This is why ALPACA has surged by 220% in just seven days. Its clear tokenomics model makes its potential evident. Although its high-yield token distribution period has ended, TVL continues to increase.

She analyzes that on ALPACA, you can lend your BNB, BUSD, and ETH without suffering impermanent loss (IL) and with a competitive Annual Percentage Yield (APY). Previously, the renowned trading team Alameda has also mined here.

Valuing ALPACA from the Tokenomics Model

She further analyzes that ALPACA will reach a total supply of 188,000,000 within two years. With a buyback and burn mechanism, 30,314,627 ALPACA has already been burned. The following chart compares ALPACA to ALPHA in terms of TVL, circulating market cap ratio, and fully circulating market cap. Despite the 220% increase, she sees investment potential in ALPACA based on this indicator.

Furthermore, she notes that after observing for a period, she finds that ALPACA's development team has good adaptability and communication skills, and they continue to fulfill their development promises.

Finally, Joey Wong clarifies that these statements do not constitute investment advice.
