Foreign media: SBF enjoys prison life, optimistic about returning to the U.S. before deciding on extradition.
Bloomberg reported on Sam Bankman-Fried's life in the Fox Hill prison after leaving and being extradited back to the United States. His time in prison seemed not as bad as one might imagine, as he stayed in the infirmary instead of a cell, could play word games, watch TV, read newspapers and magazines, and also received multiple calls from lawyers through a dedicated line at the visitor center.

Comfortable Prison Life
SBF spent a total of eight nights at Fox Hill Prison, but he did not have to stay in a crowded cell with regular inmates. Instead, he enjoyed the following privileges:
Had a simple bed.
Provided with vegetarian meals.
Allowed to watch TV, read books.
Confined to the infirmary instead of a cell.
Prison doctor checked on SBF twice daily.
SBF was allowed to play word games, watch TV, read newspapers and magazines in prison. He also received several phone calls from his lawyers through the visitor center's dedicated line.
SBF Optimistic about Situation upon Return to the U.S.
Sources revealed that the reason he no longer opposes extradition is because he expects to be granted bail upon his return to the U.S.
Doan Cleare, the Commissioner of Corrections at Fox Hill Prison, noted that SBF seems optimistic about the situation after returning to the United States. SBF had not slept well during his time in prison before the extradition, but he slept through the night before leaving.
Before departing, SBF spoke with some on-duty prison guards and officials, expressing regret for any trouble he may have caused the Bahamian government.
Upon leaving, SBF wished the staff at Fox Hill Prison a Merry Christmas.
