Under continued pressure from federal prosecutors at the U.S. Department of Justice, Seattle District Judge Richard Jones issued a temporary ruling that puts on hold the decision to allow Zhao Changpeng (CZ) to return to the UAE pending his sentencing hearing in February next year.

Zhao Changpeng may face risk of fleeing to the UAE
According to a report by Bloomberg, Judge Richard Jones's ruling indicates that allowing CZ to return to the UAE is now considered to have substantial risks, considering CZ's huge assets, his relationship with the UAE, and the potential extradition obstacles.
This seems to be the result of continuous pressure from federal prosecutors since November 22.
Previously, Judge Richard Jones had commented on CZ's request to return to the UAE for trial:
I think your appearance in court this time has greatly alleviated concerns about fleeing. You are not obligated to come to this country, but you did. As you said, your intention is to resolve this case, not to flee. Therefore, I think we will allow you to stay in the UAE.
Zhao Changpeng drops lawsuit, changes Twitter name
Zhao Changpeng has changed his Twitter name from "CZ ๐ถ BINANCE" to "CZ ๐ถ BNB".
