Binance Experiences Abnormal Bitcoin Futures Contract Spike

Today, on the afternoon of the 29th, an abnormal spike occurred in Binance's BTCUSDT perpetual contract, with the price plummeting multiple times to around $2,706, which is only 1/10 of the normal price.

This unsettling occurrence prompted Binance CEO CZ to address the situation promptly.

CZ stated that this was a display issue with the user interface's candlestick chart, and that there were no abnormalities in the candlestick data through the API, hence it would not affect trading. The front-end team is currently working on resolving the issue, and it is expected to be fixed in approximately two hours.
