Binance has become an executive director of the Taiwan FinTech Association, alongside many other VASP operators.
The cryptocurrency exchange Binance has officially joined the Taiwan FinTech Association (TFTA) and has been promoted to become one of the executive directors of the association's fourth term. Binance stated that this significant collaboration will help drive the development of Taiwan's Web3 and virtual asset industry, jointly establishing a sustainable and open industry environment and regulatory framework.

Damien Ho, representing the global partnership team of Binance, stated, "Binance has always viewed exploring a sustainable and responsible development path for the industry as its mission. As a leading participant in the industry, we are eager to cooperate with regulatory agencies, policymakers, and important industry organizations such as the Taiwan FinTech Association to jointly create a sustainable and open industrial environment and regulatory framework in Taiwan. The Taiwan FinTech Association stated, "Blockchain and virtual assets are indispensable components of future financial technology. We look forward to the participation of key global players in the virtual asset industry, bringing more global experience sharing and collectively promoting the positive development of the blockchain and virtual asset industry in Taiwan."
Multiple VASP Operators in TFTA
The Taiwan FinTech Association TFTA includes several virtual currency service operators, including MaiCoin founder Liu Shiwei, ACE founder Pan Yizhang, Perpetual founder Feng Yanwen, KuCoin CEO Oushimai, and COO Yeyiling; in addition, Tsai Yuling, the chairman of the Taiwan FinTech Association TFTA, is the chief consultant of the VASP Association Preparatory Group (source).
Binance's participation demonstrates a deeper connection with the industry in Taiwan.
