PayPal partners with ConsenSys to enable US users to purchase cryptocurrencies within MetaMask
According to an announcement by ConsenSys, MetaMask has introduced a purchasing option via PayPal in its wallet for U.S. users. Some U.S. users are already able to utilize this function, and it is expected to be rolled out to all eligible users in the coming weeks.

According to an announcement from ConsenSys, MetaMask has introduced the option to purchase through PayPal in the wallet's purchase function for U.S. users. Some U.S. users have already been able to start using this feature, with plans to roll it out to all eligible users in the coming weeks.
Currently, Taiwanese users have four payment channels available, including credit cards.
PayPal initially launched its cryptocurrency trading feature in October 2020, and the super wallet that followed still restricts cryptocurrency withdrawals. Finally, on June 7th of this year, it opened outbound transfers to U.S. users.
Despite integrating cryptocurrencies for over two years, PayPal currently only supports BTC, ETH, BCH, and LTC.
PayPal's progress with stablecoins, which it had explored earlier this year, also remains of interest.
