Kroll/FTX Digital Claims Website Only Need One to Complete
There is a cooperation agreement between the Bahamas and the liquidation and reorganization case led by John Ray in the United States, with the focus on the liquidation and distribution of U.S. litigation. The Bahamas simply provide an additional portal where clients can submit claims through the U.S. process Kroll Claims Website or the Bahamas process FTX Digital Claims Website. If clients are entitled to distribution, they will receive roughly the same returns regardless of which process they choose; however, it should be noted that choosing the Bahamas process will also waive the application through the U.S. process.
This means that users only need to complete the application in one place.
Therefore, when calculating the value of liquidation assets through the Bahamas portal, the claimed prices used by Kroll in previous reports will be consistent.
