This year, cryptocurrency companies were absent from Super Bowl ads, but Jack Dorsey showed up at the event wearing a Satoshi Nakamoto t-shirt. Perhaps this also brought some marketing effects for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Crypto Industry Absent from Super Bowl Ads
According to Fox Business, despite the current total market value of the crypto market being $1.81 trillion, which has significantly rebounded compared to the past two years, most crypto companies have decided to forgo the opportunity to advertise during the Super Bowl.
Kraken Confirms Absence
Mayur Gupta, the Chief Marketing Officer of Kraken, told Fox Business:
The Super Bowl is a U.S.-centric event, but the next wave of crypto users will come from around the world rather than just the U.S. If the last wave of crypto marketing was all about hype and FOMO, this wave must be about education and awareness based on the value proposition of cryptocurrencies.
Missed Opportunity for Bitcoin ETF Issuers?
According to sources, BlackRock will not participate in Super Bowl ad placements, and Grayscale, which previously advertised heavily in the New York subway and national airports, is also absent.
Fox Business cited a CBS report stating that in early November of last year, almost all ad slots for the Super Bowl were already sold out, while the Bitcoin ETF was not officially approved by the SEC until two months later.

Fox Business pointed out that due to many crypto institutions going bankrupt in the past, this may lead to legal expenses taking priority over marketing and advertising activities for crypto companies, especially when regular Super Bowl ad participant Coinbase is currently in litigation with the SEC.

Perhaps this brought some marketing effect to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

However, this is actually the second consecutive year that Jack Dorsey has appeared at the Super Bowl wearing a Satoshi Nakamoto t-shirt.
He wore the same t-shirt on February 12 last year, but his hair was slightly shorter than this year.
