Crypto Adoption: U.S. Home Renovation Company Announces Cryptocurrency Payments, Adds Bitcoin to Balance Sheet

Cryptocurrency adoption in the United States has taken another small step forward as a residential maintenance company announced support for crypto payments and plans to include Bitcoin on its balance sheet, all to be facilitated through partnerships with Gemini exchange and payment service providers like BitPay.

Accepting Cryptocurrency Payments

According to the Boston Herald, American Residential Warranty (ARW), a U.S. home repair company known for its innovation in the home repair sector, has announced that it will start accepting cryptocurrency payments and include Bitcoin in its investment portfolio.

Josh Brauser, ARW's Revenue Growth Director, stated:

In the U.S. home repair sector, ARW takes pride in being an innovator and supporting the growing trend of Bitcoin payments among users. We have decided to strategically invest in Bitcoin to diversify our portfolio and enhance returns.

CEO Richard Kaufman added:

As investors and a company, we are excited to engage in cryptocurrency venture capital. Our cryptocurrency payments will be processed in partnership with payment service providers like BitPay or CoinPayments.

Corporate Bitcoin Investments

Brauser noted that ARW continues to lead in innovation and quickly adapt to emerging technologies but did not disclose the amount planned for Bitcoin investments. Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss also tweeted about this news.

Furthermore, Gerber Kawasaki, the asset management firm owned by renowned Apple and Tesla investor Ross Gerber, announced that it will facilitate cryptocurrency-related investments for users through the Gemini exchange. Ross Gerber commented:

Users have been inquiring about digital asset investments, and we have been recommending Gemini to users in the past. However, most users lack the confidence to handle it themselves, and mistakes such as sending to the wrong address or losing private keys are irreparable.

Ross Gerber believes that cryptocurrency is causing a stir in the investment advisory field, and this is just the beginning.
