Recently, many well-known fashion brands have announced their foray into the blockchain industry, with brands like LV, Burberry, and Dolce & Gabbana all launching their own brand of NFTs. The renowned German fashion brand Philipp Plein is also following this trend by accepting up to 15 different cryptocurrencies as payment methods!

The Shockwave in the Fashion Industry

Through a collaboration with Coinify, the cryptocurrency payment platform under Voyager Digital, the internationally renowned fashion brand named after its German designer Philipp Plein, has announced that both its physical retail stores and online stores will accept cryptocurrency payments from customers in the future.

Customers can use up to 15 different cryptocurrencies for payments, including not only mainstream ones like BTC, ETH, BNB, and Dogecoin, but also stablecoins such as TUSD, USDC, and USDT.

In fact, Philipp Plein and its group have been actively integrating digital technology with the fashion industry. The company's revenue is expected to reach a record 100 million euros in 2021, with e-commerce being their most profitable channel at present.

"Being one of the most innovative and disruptive fashion brands is nothing new. I believe that cryptocurrency is the future. I am delighted to offer this additional and flexible payment method to our customers," said Philipp Plein in a press release issued by the company.
