Taiwan unable to access CoinMarketCap? Chunghwa Telecom says it will not block specific websites, CoinMarketCap responds officially
In Taiwan, there have been reports of users experiencing difficulties accessing the CoinMarketCap website and app. Users have encountered issues such as the webpage being inaccessible and the app unable to connect. Upon investigation, it was found that users of Chunghwa Telecom are the most affected, while users of other providers like Far EasTone and Taiwan Star did not experience any problems accessing CoinMarketCap. Additionally, using a VPN to connect from regions such as Hong Kong, the United States, or Japan did not pose any access issues.
As CoinMarketCap has not made any official announcements regarding this matter, it has sparked discussions on whether Taiwan has been included in the list of restricted regions.

Chunghwa Telecom States It Will Not Block Specific Websites
After inquiring with Chunghwa Telecom's mobile network customer service, the company stated that it does not intentionally restrict specific websites and the issue may be related to router settings. Customer service suggested adjusting mobile network settings on phones, for example on an iPhone: Settings > Mobile Service > Mobile Data Network. Change the APN part to "emome," default is "internet." After testing, the phone was able to successfully connect to CoinMarketCap.
