Arkham CEO: Some services will be implemented on a paid basis by the end of the year, and will support Solana and TON networks.

Arkham Intelligence CEO Miguel Morel revealed during an interview with The Block at the Ethereum Community Conference EthCC on the 10th that the blockchain data analytics platform is planning to introduce paid features for some of its services by the end of this year. Additionally, they will also launch on the Solana and TON networks.

Arkham Intelligence to Implement Partially Paid Services

Morel first stated that he expects to implement a paid system for some of Arkham Intelligence's services later this year.

He emphasized that the core functions of the platform will always remain free to ensure assistance to more people:

From a vision standpoint, I hope that the primary services of Arkham will remain free, including the ability to view institutions and entities indefinitely, conduct searches, view people's investment portfolios, and so on. I hope these will always be free.

He added, "Other non-core functions such as application programming interfaces (APIs), visualization tools, and tracking tools may gradually become fee-based in the future."

Arkham to Support Solana and TON Networks

Additionally, Morel revealed that Arkham Intelligence will soon complete support for the TON and Solana blockchains respectively:

Support for the TON network is expected to be launched within the next two weeks, while Solana is set to be completed by the end of August.

He also mentioned, "Integrating Solana will cost the company $1 million annually, but it has received sufficient funding for this."

At the same time, Morel believes that Solana faces the issue of lacking a comprehensive and user-friendly browser. He suggested that making it easier to analyze this blockchain will allow Arkham's analytical tools to quickly reveal valuable information.

Real-Time On-Chain Monitoring Tools Gaining Popularity

Finally, Morel also noted a significant increase in Arkham's recent usage, attributing it to the tool's ability to monitor Bitcoin movements by the German government in real-time, as well as the repayment progress of the now-defunct exchange Mt. Gox.

Previously, Arkham had indicated that their website's user base was growing by over 20% on average per week, with an estimated 1 million Arkham users by the end of the second quarter of 2024.

Morel commented:

We have actually created some unique products that meet market demands, attracting more and more user attention and spreading the tool more widely.
