Third-party payment service provider PayPal began offering the buying, selling, and holding of cryptocurrencies in 2021. Its subsidiary electronic payment app company Venmo also started supporting the same service today (20). Similar to PayPal, buying, selling, and holding cryptocurrencies can only occur within the app, and currently, it only supports four types of cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.

Its subsidiary electronic payment app company, Venmo, also started supporting the same services on May 20 today. Similar to PayPal, buying, selling, and holding cryptocurrencies can only be done within the app, and currently, it only supports four cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.

Both PayPal and Venmo's services are provided through Paxos, limited to the United States, and offer the same services. However, Venmo's audience is mostly young people. In their promotional video, they emphasize that even purchasing one dollar of cryptocurrency is possible and can be used for daily payments.

In addition, PayPal has already offered cryptocurrency payment services to users, but Venmo has not yet introduced such a service.
