zkSync v24 Update Content

The zkSync update this time mainly includes hardware signature verification, Bridgehub, and ZK Stark will support Validiums and other advancements. The following content will be updated on May 13th.

P256Verify: Hardware Signature Verification

The new version of zkSync will support more precompiles. P256Verify precompile allows secure and straightforward transaction signing from commonly used hardware devices by users, such as Apple's Secure Enclave or Android Keychain.

Users can securely use wallets and sign transactions in the future without the need to record private keys or install additional wallet software, enhancing user experience.

Sui ecosystem zkLogin wallet login tool supports Apple accounts and multi-signature.

Additional note: This update also includes ecAdd, ecMul, and ecPairing precompiles. The ecPairing precompile supports developers in creating ZK dApps that can be verified on zkSync Era.

Bridgehub: ZK Stack Ecosystem Liquidity Integration

In the future, the zkSync team will launch a new cross-chain bridge called Bridgehub. Built on smart contracts on the Ethereum mainnet, it monitors transactions of all blockchains built on ZK Stack to achieve high composability and liquidity integration among all ZK Stack blockchains.

What technological innovations does zkSync have? How might it impact the existing Rollups ecosystem?

Existing cross-chain bridge funds will be transferred to Bridgehub after the update.

ZK Stack Supports Valiums: Custom Tokens

In the future, using ZK Stack, developers can not only build Rollups but also create Validiums, choose external data availability layers DA, and customize base tokens, providing developers with more diversity and flexibility.
