Monetizing Twitter Content: All Earnings to Creators in the Coming Year
Elon Musk introduced the "Content Profit" model to the community, stating that content creators' subscription revenue will be fully handed over to the creators in the next 12 months.
However, due to platform reasons such as iOS and Android, a 30% fee is charged for subscription payments, so creators will actually receive 70% of the subscription fee.
For the web version, creators may receive around 92% due to fees charged by payment service providers.
Musk stated that after one year, the cut for iOS & Android will decrease to 15%, and Twitter will start adding a bit more fee to subscription services based on traffic.
Musk mentioned that Twitter will also help promote your creations to maximize creators' assets.
"Creators can also leave the Twitter platform at any time and take their creations with them," Musk stated, without specifically explaining how creators can take their creations with them.

Monetizing Twitter Content: Possibility of Subscribing with Cryptocurrency Payments?
Since Musk brought up payment cuts that reduce content creators' income, being familiar with cryptocurrency, will he open up the option for cryptocurrency payments for subscribing content to avoid being cut by centralized service providers?
In fact, during former CEO Jack Dorsey's tenure, creators could set up cryptocurrency addresses for tipping. It allowed tippers to tip the full amount to the address provided by the creator through third-party payments.
As for monetizing subscribed content, is it possible to let subscribers pay creators directly? ChapGPT replied:
"Opening up the option for cryptocurrency payments could be a feasible solution to help Twitter content creators receive the full subscription fee. Cryptocurrencies are decentralized, allowing direct payments from one party to another without the need for intermediaries like banks or payment processors. This means creators may receive their payments directly without incurring any transaction fees or deductions from third-party payment processors.
However, there are some potential drawbacks to consider. Cryptocurrencies are still not widely accepted by mainstream audiences, and many may not be familiar with how to use them. This may limit the number of people willing or able to pay subscription fees using cryptocurrencies.
Additionally, cryptocurrencies can be volatile, with their value fluctuating rapidly. This could pose risks for both creators and subscribers, as the value of what they pay could unexpectedly decrease or increase.
Therefore, opening up cryptocurrency payment options for Twitter content creators may be a good idea, but it should be implemented cautiously and accompanied by appropriate education and support for users to minimize risks and maximize earnings."
