MetaMask mobile version releases five updates: supports credit card, Apple Pay for purchasing coins, and assists in identifying authorization contracts.
MetaMask announced on Twitter that the mobile update version v4.3.1 is now live, with the following updates:
Table of Contents
1. Apple Pay Support
MetaMask has partnered with cross-border payment financial company Wyre to support purchasing cryptocurrencies using Apple Pay on iOS devices. Transactions may incur a service fee of up to 2.9% + $0.3, in addition to Gas fees, possibly due to involving other service providers.
2. Dark Mode
If your mobile device already has Dark Mode enabled, MetaMask's Dark Mode will also be activated automatically. The web extension will soon support Dark Mode as well.
🕶🦊 Wen dark mode? Now dark mode! One of our most anticipated feature requests is here.
Dark mode will automatically enable if your OS has dark mode enabled system-wide.
And yes, dark mode for MM Extension is coming soon™️.

3. Credit Card Purchase
Support for purchasing coins with Visa and MasterCard credit cards via ApplePay, also made possible through a partnership with payment institution Wyre.
4. Contract Authorization Identification
Now, when a DApp requests authorization, users can clearly identify which contract the request is coming from and can label contracts individually for easier recognition during future use. MetaMask advises caution when interacting with contracts.
5. Partial Support for Gasless Transactions
MetaMask supports gasless transactions on certain blockchain networks, such as private chains, or projects/protocols that cover Gas fees on behalf of users.
