Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey revealed "The ₿ Word" on Twitter, an initiative led by the Crypto Council for Innovation to explain the advantages of Bitcoin and promote its adoption by businesses, which has also garnered Elon Musk's attention.

The Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) announced the establishment of The ₿ Word on 6/24, which will kick off on 7/22 at 00:00 Taiwan time. The event is co-hosted by:

  • Square

Many influential figures in the crypto industry will gather to discuss mainstream perspectives on Bitcoin. Speakers include:

  • Twitter founder Jack Dorsey
  • ARK Invest founder Cathie Wood
  • Former CIA deputy director Michael Morrell
  • Blockstream founder Adam Back
  • Coin Metrics co-founder Nic Carter
  • Lyn Alden Investment Strategy founder Lyn Alden

After the event, all speeches will be published on the Crypto Council for Innovation website and The ₿ Word official website.

Cathie Wood pointed out that the next wave of Bitcoin adopters is coming, and stakeholders must play an active role.

The co-founder of Paradigm believes that the Bitcoin network is powerful and complex, making it difficult to understand in the early stages of adoption. He hopes that this event will help investors and policymakers understand this revolutionary moment.

Earlier reports indicated that the Crypto Council for Innovation was established in April this year, with participants including Fidelity, Square, Coinbase, and Paradigm, among other top crypto institutions.

After a long silence on Bitcoin-related tweets, Musk once again mocked Bitcoin enthusiasts this morning, asking:

He then self-answered in the voice of a Bitcoin maxi, "That's not funny."

Screwing in a lightbulb is a long-standing joke in American history used to mock a specific "group" for being unintelligent and inefficient.

Musk later replied to Jack Dorsey's tweet about The ₿ Word, saying:

Bicurious? Oh no, I mean Bitcoin, haha.

Jack Dorsey invited Musk to attend The ₿ Word together, suggesting that they could have a candid conversation and Musk could share all his curiosities about Bitcoin.
