The leading cryptocurrency hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has partnered with the payment giant PayPal, allowing customers to purchase cryptocurrencies directly on Ledger Live using their PayPal accounts. The purchased cryptocurrencies will be automatically sent to the customer's Ledger cold wallet.

The leading hardware wallet provider Ledger released a press release, announcing a collaboration with the payment giant PayPal to simplify the process of entering the world of cryptocurrency. PayPal becomes another payment provider for Ledger, but is currently only available for users in the United States. Ledger users in the U.S. can now purchase BTC, ETH, BCH, and LTC directly using their PayPal accounts. The purchasing steps for those who already have a PayPal account are as follows:
- Open Ledger Live and click on "Buy"
- Select your currency and enter the amount you wish to purchase
- Specify your country/region, currently limited to the U.S.
- Choose PayPal as the payment method
- You will be redirected to the PayPal interface, where you can log in and confirm the transaction
- Upon confirmation, your digital assets will be automatically sent to the secure environment of your Ledger device
