Coinbase Update: Supports buying coins with Apple Pay debit cards, instant withdrawals up to $100,000 24/7.

Coinbase is further expanding its payment capabilities on Apple Pay, allowing users to purchase cryptocurrencies directly with the financial cards linked to Apple Pay starting today. It is expected to support Google Pay by the end of the third quarter, while also introducing an instant cash withdrawal service of up to $100,000 per transaction.

Expanding Apple Pay Payment Functionality

Coinbase announced in June that its issued cryptocurrency financial card, "Coinbase Card," will now support Apple Pay and Google Pay, as reported by Crypto Briefing.

In a recent announcement, Coinbase has expanded its support. Users can now purchase cryptocurrencies with any Mastercard or Visa credit card linked to Apple Pay. When buying cryptocurrencies on Coinbase using an Apple device or Safari browser, Apple Pay will automatically be displayed as one of the payment options.

Google Pay is expected to offer a similar feature by the end of the third quarter. Additionally, Coinbase has significantly improved the speed of fiat currency withdrawals for users.

RTP Real-Time Payments

Many Coinbase users currently opt for ACH transfer services, which can take up to five days for withdrawals. Coinbase has become the first cryptocurrency exchange to implement Real-Time Payments (RTP), providing 24/7 instant withdrawals. U.S. users can withdraw instantly using RTP, with a maximum of $100,000 per transaction, and funds arrive in just a few seconds, without a daily withdrawal limit.

High-Frequency Market Makers Enter the Crypto Space

In addition to the above announcements, one of the world's largest high-frequency trading market makers, Virtu Financial, has revealed its foray into the cryptocurrency space.

Its second-quarter financial report indicates ongoing progress in its market-making business in the crypto space, with reports suggesting that Virtu is partnering with exchanges such as Coinbase and Gemini.

CEO Douglas Cifu stated:
