According to Pitchbook data, here is a list of the top 10 most active funds in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space in 2019.

Most Active Cryptocurrency Funds in 2019:
In 2019, the total amount of venture capital investments in the cryptocurrency industry decreased by about 40% to $1.5 billion, with a 60% decrease in the number of transactions. (This statistic does not include seed rounds and other rounds of investment below $1 million).
Through Pitchbook, we analyzed the investment trends in seed, early-stage, and late-stage funds in 2019 to determine if there were funds in a specific area that invested more than others.

Top 10 Active Funds in 2019 and their Investments:

Interestingly, all funds except Galaxy Digital were either keen on investing in regional exchanges in South America, Europe, and the Middle East or were focused on investing in trading-related services, making this direction the primary choice for active investment institutions in 2019. Wallets, open financing platforms, and blockchain gaming studios followed closely as popular investment categories.
